For our class, we were asked to redesign a simple ikea lampshade. We were also asked to use the laser cutter to cut out designs. Not only decorative designs, but designs that focus on problems. On one side of the lamp, I laser cut a nature environment, such as two deers with multiple trees. On the other side, i designed a city landscape, with a few trees here and there. I also used one element in both environments as well, which is the lamppost. I guess my message: place yourself as the lamppost. Which one do you want to be surrounded with the most?
