Lamp Shade at the Holland Project

The UNR Digital Media program invites the community to the Holland Project. I went to the first day of the exhibit today just to check it out and guess what? The front window showcases (until May 13) six lamps from our class, ART 245! One of the lamps included mine! Remember my last project?

The opening reception is on May 6 from 6-8PM, so be sure to check it out! I'll probably be there if I finish my finals but you'll also get to see other student's works from other classes!

Overall, I am proud of myself for making it to a well-known local gallery, (along with a couple of my classmates, of course)! This adds well to my portfolio and I can't wait to tell other students. Actually, the director of the DeLaMare Library, Tod Colegrove, (who is the sweetest guy I've ever met), is planning to offer up a gallery space to showcase our lamps! I'll tell you guys about it if I make it this second round! (Fingers crossed that I will)

The Holland Project is located in 140 Vesta St.
